Unlike dehydration, which evaporates water using heat, freeze drying completely removes all moisture.

Step 1. You take fresh or frozen food and freeze it to -40F or colder in some cases.

Step 2. Once the food is frozen, the freeze dryers create an incredibly powerful vacuum that encompasses the food. The food is then slightly warmed, causing the ice in the food to sublimate, which changes directly from a solid into a gas. The water vapor that is created is then discarded.

Step 3. When the food is completely dry, it’s removed from the freeze dryer and to ensure freshness, the food “should be sealed” in moisture and oxygen proof packaging (i.e. Mason Jar or food safe Mylar bag).

Freeze-dried candy is a new form of preservation method where sweet or sour treats are frozen. This method doesn’t affect the food value but makes it more flavorful and faster rehydration process. What is this? This freezing of treats also has a longer shelf life and stays good for as long as 25 years.

All orders can take up to 4-days to process. *Due to extremely hot weather, processing times may be longer . **Please note that we do not include weekends, holidays or wholesale orders.

EVERY order is “made-to-order” so, that means the your order is made specifically for you. We do not keep products on the shelves until they’re purchased like most other companies so, you’re guaranteed to receive the ABSOLUTE FRESHEST freeze dried candy & desserts anywhere around.

In addition, since all orders are “made-to-order”, we typically begin processing orders after 24hrs from the time the order was placed. We do this to allow our customers time to cancel their order if they need to (for a full refund). Waiting 24hrs to process an order prevents us from having to discard product.

All orders are shipped using USPS shipping options. *We do not ship UPS, FedEx or DHL.

Delivery times are the sole responsibility of the shipping carrier (i.e. USPS) and depending on where you’re located, once an order has been shipped, delivery can take anywhere from 2-7 days. *Weather conditions can also affect delivery times.

Once an order has been processed by the shipping carrier, the time for delivery is out of our control and we will not be responsible for any delays.

Currently, all orders are shipped from Gilbert, AZ.

Yes, we ship to all 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii.

Because all of our orders are “made-to-order”, our facility is only used for manufacturing. We do not allow walk-ins or pick-up orders.

Once an order is shipped, you’ll receive a “Your Order Has Shipped” email. This email will include the tracking number for your order. *Please note that sometimes this email will be delivered into the Spam / Junk folder so please check that.

Since all orders are “made-to-order” and are specifically for you, you must cancel your order within 24-hours from the time the order was placed for a full refund. If an order is cancelled after 24-hours from the time the order was placed, there will be a 15% fee imposed.

Unfortunately we do not accept returns.

Your health is more important to us than an order so, if you have any type of food allergy (nuts, dairy, etc.) we recommend that you play it safe and do not place an order. Unfortunately, we can not control how the products are manufactured in their original form and some products are in-fact processed in facilities that process nuts and dairy. *We will not be responsible if you have a food allergy and still decide to place an order.

YES ABSOLUTELY! We have both a business license as well as a Manufactures license. Do NOT trust any company, place, shop or store that operates without one.

We ARE NOT the original manufacture of any of the items that we sell however, once an item is altered from its original state (even repackaged), it’s considered remanufactured.

Freeze Dried Rush is not responsible for carrier delays. Once your order has been accepted by a shipping carrier. Freeze Dried Rush can only provide you with a tracking number for your order. Delays in delivery is the sole responsibility of the shipping carrier. As the buyer, you will be responsible to contact the carrier directly if you have any questions other-than to request a tracking number.

If your package is lost, the shipping carriers have a 15 day waiting period to file a claim. As the buyer, you will be responsible to contact the carrier directly to file a claim. You will need a copy of the order invoice you received when your order was placed and the tracking number we provided when your order was shipped.
